We pass by this little shrine all the time and we finally decided to stop and take a closer look
It's easy to see the "gatekeepers" at this shrine
It has a nice garden area
And a pretty big burial ground in the back
Monday was Family Home Evening. In honor of Pioneer Day, Elder T played "Come, Come, Ye Saints" on his harmonica.

The Nagamachi Elders had a good game for everyone to enjoy. And then we had ice cream bars.
On Tuesday, the Nagamachi Ward Relief Society made tacos for the missionaries! (Not to be confused with tako which is the Japanese word for octopus!) It smelled and tasted so good!
There was a whole lot of chopping going on
President Smith was invited to share a message. He talked about things we should do every day; every week; every month; and every year to stay on track living the gospel.
On Thursday, we had another group of elders preparing to return home. They have school schedules to get home to before the next regular transfer date. The Smiths left earlier to attend a funeral in a different city, so we were invited to the testimony meeting and sukiyaki dinner. It is always such a blessing to hear these young people bear their testimonies at the end of their missions.
These shoes have been worn out as the missionaries have served the Lord.
Then bright and early Friday morning, we were off to the airport again. The middle front seat of the van is high, so Elder R almost had to duck his head!
We had one luggage zipper malfunction to deal with.
Off they go!
Well done Elders! Five going home plus the two assistants. They headed off to California, Oregon and three to Utah.
And this little boy gets to go fishing!
We have heard from Bryan that they made it safely to Brazil. They're dealing with a few issues and trying to get settled, but they're happy to be there.
